Harmony, Tone Color and Texture: layers of melody and harmony, ostinato, string instruments and their unique sounds
Form: same or different, verse and refrain AB, ABA
Expression: crescendo and decrescendo, forte and piano, music can communicate mood
History and Culture: music as it relates to the world around us, audience behavior, performing responsibilities
The Fry 2nd graders also have a music program October 24, 2012 at 6:30 pm. They will be singing, dancing, and playing instruments to share what they have learned over the past 1 1/2 years. It will be a book-based curricular program. You will see their musical skills demonstrated while being woven into the story we read.
